His work

As a consultant veterinary program Pets, Kati focuses on capacity building in veterinary medicine, shelter management and care of the animals humanely. It develops and implements continuing education on animal care for IFAW staff, partners and associated project groups. She has trained more than 100 people - doctors and veterinary nurses, care staff animals - on breeding, processing, behavior and well-being of animals in China, Indonesia and other countries.

With the help of an international team of veterinarians, Kati develop procedures and protocols of reference for veterinary care practiced in shelters, clinics and other projects for dogs and cats, to even basic health care and how to treat pets humanely. It provides advice and plays an active role in implementing the projects IFAW pets around the world.

In addition to its role in the Animals program company, Kati also participates in animal rescue, responding to this animal disaster victims and taking part in the rescue. It supports projects for rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, using his experience and pandas rescued from bile trade in Asia to play an advisory role in the project of rehabilitation and care of teddy bears in other countries, while continuing its long-term commitment to the rehabilitation of birds in the raptor rescue center in Beijing.
